I had meant to add that I cannot understand why there is no public appetite for Nanny to intervene to prevent the dominance of successful Olympic athletes. Perhaps Carl Lewis ought to have been made to run with one arm tied behind his back, just to give all the others a chance.

Come to think of it, the entertainment value of watching his silly preening face squirm with such discomfort would almost make it worthwhile, even from my point of view.
